Are you thinking about attending a mom & baby class with your little one but anxious about how to make it happen or worried what it will be like? Does it sound like a great idea until you actually think about the details and then you want to back out.
Here are a few tips for how to attend a workout class WITH your baby or toddler! 💪🏻
1️⃣ Sign up with a friend. You’ll feel comforted knowing you have support. Plus you’ll be held accountable because #momfriends do NOT ditch each other, ever. ✨
2️⃣ Pack smartly. You don’t need much. Bring diapers, wipes, a swaddle blanket for baby to lie on and a bottle if they need it. Pack snacks for toddlers and maybe some stickers or one toy. Don’t forget to pack yourself a bottle of water. Chances are your baby or toddler will be entertained by all that’s around them that you won’t need much! ✨
3️⃣ During the workout, remember to breathe and appreciate the opportunity to move your body. It doesn’t matter how many reps you do or your performance. Focus on feeling the benefits of movement and a good sweat. The rest will come. ✨
4️⃣ Don’t worry about how your baby will “behave.” Remember the room is full of moms. Everyone is nervous their baby will cry, fuss, poop, crawl away, etc. Honestly, all of these things will probably happen. And that’s ok! It’s not a big deal. ✨
5️⃣ Envision how you feel afterwards. Chanel the pride and accomplishment you will feel when you get back home. It’s a wonderful feeling and worth all of the effort! ✨
Plenty of water, towel or yoga mat/blanket, sunscreen (for outdoor classes), baby essentials including snacks and/or toys for your little one(s), comfortable walking/running shoes, and appropriate exercise attire.

For all other classes or drop-in classes, pre-register so your instructor knows to expect you and can contact you if there are any changes to the class. We require a minimum number of clients to be enrolled in order to offer a class. If you cannot make it to class, please cancel with at least 1 hours notice.
You can begin attending class with your doctor's clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment.

Babies are priority, so don't worry if your baby becomes fussy during class! Anne always tries to keep the kids moving and engaged with various props to keep them entertained. With that said, if you need to change, nurse or console your baby, please do so. Kids will have good and bad days and we understand that. The kiddos learn the new routine of "Mommy's hour" and learn a few things during our workout too!
That's okay! Sometimes babies cry. You will be in a group full of moms with their kids - we've all been there and we all get it. You're always able to do what you need to do to take care of your little one and, of course, we try to keep things moving so that the kids are happy and entertained.
If you need to change, nurse or console your baby, please do so. Your instructor will make sure to provide you with comfort and discretion during class.
Of course! Kids of all ages are welcome.
